Position Summary
We are looking for a Group Leader Clinical Innovation Lab to drive clinical research through accelerated studies and innovative clinical methodology aligned with our strategic priorities. You will manage a clinical research group, clinical innovation activities, and budget. This role presents an opportunity to develop and implement strategy for clinical innovation in alignment with our priorities, lead a small team, ensuring best clinical practices, safety monitoring, and compliance. A Day in the Life of a Group Leader Clinical Innovation Lab
- Act as Principal Investigator for in-house studies, ensuring design, conduct, and reporting in compliance with regulations.
- Ensure best clinical practice, safety monitoring, and quality in clinical execution for in-house studies.
- Manage people plan aligned with priorities and strategy of the unit, developing a diverse team.
- Ensure appropriate competence level and allocation of resources for the group.
- Forecast budget for internal studies and innovation activities.
- Develop the group strategy, focusing on accelerated study execution and innovating clinical methodologies.
- Strengthen the core through knowledge and business transfers.
- Create innovation capabilities and seed new opportunities for global clinical trials.
What will make you successful
- MsC Degree and/or Medical Degree, PhD in Life science would be desired.
- Experience as Principal Investigator in clinical research.
- Deep knowledge of study execution with vast experience in clinical studies and trials.
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external clinical trial stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration skills and strategic thinking.
- Experience in risk assessment and management in clinical research.
- Good understanding of project management and high level of agility.
- Knowledge of GCP, clinical regulatory, and ethical environment.
- Experience in clinical innovation activities to drive efficiency, e.g. digitalization and decentralization.
- Line management experience preferred, with strong interpersonal and people development skills.
- Fluent level of English, good level of French desirable.
