NeStep is a unique 12-month immersive experience at Nestlé in Switzerland for fresh graduates who want to learn fast, grow with purpose and make an impact. From day one, you spend at least half of your time owning one meaningful project, combined with structured learning and continuous mentoring.

 

As a NeStep Talent in R&D Events & Engagement, you will enable our internal and external audiences to discover our global R&D activities through visits, events and other communication formats, providing our experts with a platform to illustrate the science and innovation behind products. In this role, you will be exposed to many topics across our R&D organization, from fundamental science to product innovation and culinary expertise.

 

The role is located at our Nestlé Research facility in Lausanne, Switzerland, which employs approximately 1,000 people and is comprised of five Nestlé Institutes: Food Sciences; Health Sciences; Food Safety & Analytical Sciences; Packaging Sciences; and Agriculture Sciences.

 

A day in the life of a NeStep Talent in R&D Events & Engagement

 

  • Plan, coordinate and execute immersive visits to R&D sites adapted to diverse audiences, such as scientific Key Opinion Leaders, authorities, business partners and media.
  • Support and learn about the logistics of event organization.
  • Prepare communication material on science and technology at Nestlé for non-scientific audiences.
  • Define storylines, props and visual set-ups together with scientific experts for interactive sessions with internal and external visitors.

 

What will make you successful

 

  • Recent graduate in Communication, Hospitality, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Curious about food, science and technology, with an interest in making complex topics engaging and accessible.
  • Organized and reliable, with the ability to coordinate several tasks and follow through on details.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to change.
  • Collaborative, proactive and detail-oriented, with a positive can-do attitude.
  • Good communication and storytelling skills, with the willingness to further develop them through written content and immersive visits.
  • Fluent in English and French; any other language would be a plus.

 

 

Eligibility criteria

 

  • Being a recent graduate from a Swiss higher education institution (bachelor's or master's degree completed within last 12 months). 
  • Swiss nationals, EU/EFTA nationals, or C permit holders only.
