As a P-test microbiology & Quality Coordinator, ‎you will be responsible for the design and coordination of the Microbiology P-Test schemes with internal and external partners and, as quality responsible, you will  implement, maintain, and improve the Management System in accordance with ISO 17043 and Nestlé guidelines.

A Day in the Life of a P-test microbiology & Quality coordinator

 

  • Microbiology scheme: ensure complete coordination from test design to results release in accordance with ISO 17043 requirements within Nestlé or with external P-Test providers
  • Define P-test needs for microbiology with business and NR analytical experts
  • Evaluate requests for new P-tests, and re-design schemes when appropriate
  • Propose significant improvement/adaptation to methodologies
  • Maintain updated SOPs and instructions; ensure proper management of documents and records.
  • Identify deviations from the Management System or procedures and initiate actions to prevent or minimize them
  • Plan, organize and lead internal and external audits
  • Communicate with our worldwide network of contact points, our analytical experts at Nestlé Research and the P-test team


What will make you successful

 

  • Diploma in Biology (CFC or Bachelor’s degree) with 3-5 years practical experience in microbiological analysis, and a good understanding of methodologies
  • Practical experience of quality management (> 3 years) in an accredited laboratory (ISO 17025). Experience in auditing would be a plus
  • Highly service oriented
  • Very well organized, takes initiatives
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Experienced with office365 and knowledge of database tools (PowerBi, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of statistics
  • Fluent in English
