Position Summary


Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of four Nestlé Institutes: Material Sciences; Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences and Packaging Sciences. As part of Nestlé's new ambition to have 100% of its packaging recyclable or reusable by 2025, packaging research and development activities must include development of refilled and reusable packaging systems. 

 

In this role you will bring a great contribution to this project by enhancing an internal platform to share learning of the refilled and reusable packaging system and build tools that would answer various demands from markets in launching packaging free systems.

A day in the life of an Intern in Packaging

 

  • Design (with Adobe Creative suite) an attractive, user-friendly content on our internal platforms for our global Nestlé markets on the refilled and reusable packaging systems
  • Collect data from previous pilots and enhance the Toolkit and Sharepoint covering fundamental knowledge in basic operational topics (e.g. Material selection, Design features, Food safety guidelines, Business model, etc) in order to answer the various demands/questions from pilot markets and visualize the latest developments in the topic of alternative delivery systems
  • Standardize and share learnings to support pilots and scale up activities within the Nestlé market

What will make you successful

 

  • Bachelor or Master degree (completed or ongoing) in Design or an education in User Experience Design (UX Design)
  • Experience using Adobe Creative suite
  • Knowledge of SharePoint will be an asset
  • Strategic approach
  • Initiative to connect to the right stakeholders and determine the best tools and programs to use in different situations
  • Good listening and analytical skills
  • Understanding the refilled and reusable packing business environment would be an asset
  • Good level of English required
