As a Packaging Simulation Intern at Nestlé Research, Institute of Packaging Sciences, your mission is to help advance sustainable packaging by investigating how paper-based materials perform during sealing. You will make a difference by collaborating closely with packaging scientists, simulation experts, and laboratory teams while contributing to both modelling and experimental work. This is your opportunity to make an impact while gaining hands on experience and mentorship to kick-start your career.

How you’ll make an impact as a Packaging Simulation Intern

What will make you successful

  • Current student or fresh graduate in materials science, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field, with hands-on exposure to numerical modelling and finite element methods
  • Having practical knowledge of tools such as Abaqus, Python, or Fortran, with an interest in failure modelling and material behaviour.
  • Being comfortable combining modelling work with hands-on laboratory testing
  • Having strong English communication skills, with proficiency that enables you to work effectively in a scientific and collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrating courage, collaboration, speed and continuous learning.

At Nestlé Research, we place people at the heart of everything we do.
