Position Summary

It has pioneered the portioned coffee market to provide premium coffees and related products/services, both in-home and out-of-home.

 

While benefiting from Nestlé's expertise, Nestlé Nespresso is a strategic business unit in its own right, with its unique business model, having the end-to-end responsibility from coffee sourcing to marketing, delivering premium coffee products and services to the end-consumer through its diverse sales channels (Retail, e-Commerce, CRC).

 

We are looking for a Quality Specialist for Nespresso - Accessories - that will ensure that product safety, product quality requirements as well as regulatory compliance are fully met during the accessories development process. The QA Specialist Accessories will also contribute to the adequate and timely update of the quality sign-off, together with the corresponding supporting documentation along all I2L stages. He / she will ensure continuous improvement by working on product non-conformities, supplier development and further optimization of new products development process.
    

A day in the life of a Quality Specialist for Nespresso - Accessories-

 

  • Support new accessories development, ensuring the compliance with Nestlé quality and Product safety standards as well as the legal/regulatory compliance (including Market requirements) during the I2L Process steps
  • Perform audits and line release inspection at suppliers
  • Ensure lessons learned and design rules are applied in new development projects
  • Communicate resolution to the necessary stakeholders
  • Find further improvement opportunities using NCE tools for prioritization and problem solving (IPA, GSTD...)
What will make you successful

 

  • Master degree in Quality (Food safety – Packaging Safety) or chemistry, material science, or food science-related studies.
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in QA and/or Product development in the following fields
    • Food, Plastic, Ceramic, Stainless Steel, Paper and carton, Coffee co-packing
    • Promotional items
  • Factory and/or market positions, environments experience
  • Track records in Project management
  • Knowledge of the “Quality by Design” approach
  • Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams and projects
  • Ability to manage different projects at the same time
  • Fluent in English, other language is an asset
