Position Summary
As a Clinical Research Nurse Intern, you will be working under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and the Group Leader, gaining hands-on experience in the planning, and execution of clinical studies while adhering to timelines, budgets, and project participation across the Clinical Research Unit. The core activities of this role are the performance of clinical procedures on study participants, the oversight of medical responsibilities, and the collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with good clinical practices and applicable legislation.

A Day in the Life of a Clinical Research Nurse Intern
- Assist in ensuring that clinical research activities comply with local laws, regulations, and sponsor procedures, adhering to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
- Aid in preparing regulatory submission documents and facilitate Ethical Committee submissions
- Maintain the Investigator Site File and various study materials, implementing recruitment strategies and enrolling participants
- Manage and document day-to-day study activities, ensuring timely coordination of participant tests and procedures
- Collect and manage data according to the protocol, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Participate in internal close-out meetings, assist in submitting close-out documents to the Ethical Committee, and archive study documents
- Screen potential study participants and document medical histories
- Perform medical procedures such as biological sample collection and monitor safety surveillance during studies
What Will Make You Successful
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree in nursing, or graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in nursing
- Passionate about clinical research
- Strong analytical thinking
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing priorities, and staying organized
- Former experience in clinical projects as sub-investigator is a plus
- Prior nursing experience in hospitals or health centres is a plus
- Familiarity with platforms and software for data collection and analysis (Redcap, Medidata, Excel) is a plus
- Fluent in English, French highly preferred, any other language is a plus
