Position Summary
We are looking for a Safety & Security Assistant, to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of our programs at Nestlé Research. Join our team and help enhance the safety and security of our organization.
Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of five Nestlé Institutes: Food Sciences, Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences, Packaging Sciences, and Agricultural Sciences. A Day in the Life of a Safety & Security Assistant
- Support continuous improvement of Safety and Security programs to ensure compliance and performance improvement
- Implement plans based on the Roadmaps developed with subject matter experts
- Participate in internal and external audits as required
- Engage with stakeholders, local regulators, and communities to build positive relationships
- Provide training on Safety and Security rules and guidelines to community members
- Coach and guide community members on Safety and Security rules and responsibilities
- Assist in creating and reviewing Safety and Security documents
- Provide reports, presentations, and document revisions
What will make you successful
- CFC in technical domain
- Solid experience in occupational Safety or Security, an industrial or R&D environment
- Proven ability to influence behavioral change and coach individuals and teams
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to improve current practices
- Guest-oriented, service-minded, and highly organized
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results
- Excellent leadership skills and lead by example
- Flexibility and willingness to try new approaches
- Engage and motivate in Safety and Security topics
- Strong communication skills and persistence in the face of challenges
- Seek out innovative ideas to foster a Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) culture at Nestlé Research
- Fluent in French & English
