As a Senior Specialist Metabolic Health – Hormone Regulation at Nestlé Research, your mission is to advance nutrition-based health solutions by deepening scientific understanding of how hormonal regulation influences metabolic health, body composition and physiological functions. You’ll make a difference by collaborating closely with scientists, innovation partners and technical teams across Nestlé Research and the wider research and development community. How you’ll make an impact as a Senior Specialist Metabolic Health – Hormone Regulation

  • Leading research that links nutrition, hormonal regulation and metabolic health to create new health-focused innovation opportunities.
  • Translating scientific evidence on gut hormones, insulin sensitivity, sex hormones and body composition into actionable nutrition concepts.
  • Developing mechanistic insights that help move scientific observations into clear modes of action and stronger health recommendations.
  • Building external scientific networks in metabolic health, endocrinology and women’s health to strengthen collaboration and future innovation.
  • Contributing high-quality scientific outputs, including research milestones, publications, presentations and innovation inputs.
  • Inspiring cross-functional teams and supporting junior team members through coaching and mentoring, while connecting deep scientific expertise with practical nutrition solutions that improve health outcomes.

 

What will make you successful

  • Bringing a PhD or MD/PhD with recognized scientific expertise in metabolic health and hormone regulation, including gut-derived hormones, insulin sensitivity and sex hormones, with extensive years of relevant experience.
  • Applying experience in nutritional interventions, health outcomes and human physiology to generate robust scientific insights.
  • Using project leadership, stakeholder engagement and scientific communication skills to turn evidence into meaningful innovation.
  • Collaborating with curiosity, agility and creativity across research, technology and innovation teams.
  • Communicating fluently in English.
  • Bringing collaboration, fresh thinking, bold questions, respect, and a positive, wellbeing-oriented mindset.
