As a Senior specialist in Psychopharmacology, and with your experience in nutrition or drug research, you will conceive and lead innovation opportunities in alignment with business needs to substantiate nutrition solutions for tangible mental well-being and performance benefits in the general population.
 

A day in the life of Senior Specialist in Psychopharmacology

 

  • Proactively identify & develop innovation opportunities (new concept, new scientific approach)
  • Effectively define and execute research activities internally and externally, including experiment design, protocol writing and KOL management
  • Develop scientific substantiation plans for health claim dossier based on business needs
  • Provide scientific qualified support and consultancy to projects across the department and institute
  • Coordinate business translation of scientific discoveries with key business partners
  • Contribute to scientific communication material, patents, conferences and peer-reviewed publications          
  • Training/coaching of junior scientists in group
  • Present ideas, findings and updates to department and project stakeholders 
     

What will make you successful

 

  • PhD in Psychopharmacology or equivalent with expertise in nutrition, botanical or drug research in the domain of mental wellbeing or performance
  • Minimum 5 years of research experience after doctoral degree
  • Polyvalent knowledge from pre-clinical to clinical approaches 
  • Understanding of brain functions, neurochemistry, metabolic factors, chronopharmacology and related assessment methodologies in-vitro or in-vivo relevant in healthy adults
  • Demonstrated experience with scientific substantiation for health claim development 
  • Project management skills
  • Good translational research understanding 
  • Experience with industry research is a plus
  • Strong personal skills for internal and external collaboration with strong influencing and convincing skills
  • Creative mindset for scientific approaches with strong ability to draw connections between facts, ideas and situations
  • Fluent in English both written and spoken
