As a Senior Specialist Quantitative and Predictive Microbiology, your main activity will be to build and drive the execution of the strategic roadmap for development of quantitative and predictive microbiology approaches in collaboration with stakeholders

A Day in the Life of a Senior Specialist Quantitative and Predictive Microbiology
- Advance application of Quantitative and Predictive Microbiology across Nestlé, delivering user friendly solutions that enable broad application in both R&D and Operations
- Develop team to be Nestlé experts in microbiological risk assessment, predictive microbiology, and challenge testing
- Ensure coaching and development of team members, planning and execution of activities and reporting of results.
- Actively contribute to Nestlé leadership in Food Safety Microbiology through active networking in international expert groups and conferences (Publication in scientific journals, talks during international conferences, etc.)
What will make you successful
- PhD Degree in Food Microbiology, preferably specializing in Predictive Microbiology, or a closely related field
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the area of food microbiology
- Demonstrated ability to lead a high performing team
- Strong expertise in quantitative and predictive microbiology and microbial risk assessment
- Fluent in English with effective oral and written communication
- Ability to work in cross-disciplinary teams and multicultural environment
