Position Summary

As a Specialist in Weight and Glucose Management, you will proactively propose and drive new ideas and projects to R&D teams, Business Units and Operations, design and manage clinical studies, lead and conduct research to develop nutritional and/or non-nutritional (e.g. digital) solutions targeting Metabolic Health, integrate scientific & technology knowledge into business concepts and ensure their delivery to product I&R pipelines and build and maintain internal and external networks supported by delivering high level communication (presentations and publications).      

A day in the life of a Specialist in Weight and Glucose Management:

 

  • Develop clinical evidence to support product development and communication
  • Manage efficiently projects and research activities
  • Provide impactful written and oral communication to external and internal stakeholders
  • Propose innovative concepts
  • Valorize research outcomes through communication and/or publications
  • Develop expertise in Metabolic Health beyond glucose management (weight management or related metabolic disorders)
  • Develop scientific network/interactions with key experts and KOLs 

What will make you successful

 

  • PhD, post-doctoral experience is a plus
  • Scientific expertise in Metabolic Health (i.e. Glucose Metabolism, Weight Management and related metabolic disorders) 
  • Previous experience conducting human clinical studies is a must
  • Experience in project management and knowledge in Nutrition is a plus 
  • Experience in scientific communication, including presentations at scientific meetings
