We are looking for a Specialist in Neurocognition, to develop new nutrition and non-nutritional solutions for neurodevelopment, identify opportunities and partnerships, lead impactful projects, and support communication on infant and child neurodevelopment.

A Day in the Life of a Specialist in Neurocognition

 

  • Autonomously identify new concepts and opportunities in focus areas through literature review and data analysis
  • Lead and manage project activities, collaborating with internal and external partners
  • Identify and request support from other functions as needed
  • Utilize external network to identify and engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) for project collaboration
  • Develop clinical study protocols and oversee their execution
  • Provide scientifically credible input for business material development
  • Present scientific approaches and findings to various internal and external audiences and contribute to high-quality research outputs

 

What will make you successful

 

  • PhD and post-doctoral research in the areas of Psychology, Pedagogical science, Pediatric neuroscience, or equivalent
  • Strong scientific background in neurodevelopment (birth until adolescence), with insight in neurophysiology and its role in neurodevelopment 
  • Successful contribution to research projects with demonstrated impact (e.g., implementation of new methods and/or readouts, identification of bioactives)
  • Experience in clinical protocol development and participation in the execution of clinical trials
  • Experience in nutrition and/or preclinical studies is a plus
  • Track record of scientific writing and communication, including manuscripts for publication, presentations at international scientific conferences and stakeholders
  • Fluent in English
