A Day in the Life of a Specialist Paper Packaging

• Facilitate the technology platform or project stream in the deployment of novel fiber-based packaging materials through successful machinability in various packaging formats and platforms.
• Scout for new packaging technology platforms, formats and materials.
• Establish collaborations with key industrial and academic partners in the field of packaging machinability. 
• Define and provide input to the technology roadmap and in the 5G Innovation & Renovation pipelines.
• Proactively deploy expert knowledge in R&D projects streams. 

What will make you successful

• Masters and/or PhD in Paper Engineering /Packaging Technology/Science or related subject
• Solid Industry experience on a wide range of flexible and rigid packaging platforms 
• Mastery in machinability of novel fiber-based packaging materials across various packaging platforms
• Recognized expertise across and outside the company
• Capable and willing to teach and train
• High motivation and leadership skills
• Fluent in written and oral English
