Position Summary
Nestlé Research is based in Lausanne, Switzerland, employs approximately 1000 people and is comprised of four Nestlé Institutes: Material Sciences; Health Sciences, Food Safety & Analytical Sciences and Packaging Sciences. As a Intern Consumer Insight you will support our Concept and Prototype Development Team, hence there are several interesting activities waiting for you, all focusing on our end consumers.

A Day in the Life of an Intern Consumer Insight
- Scouting, bringing together and analyzing multiple data sources, esp. digital & social media to science translation into resonating consumer messages
- Assistance in planning, organizing and conducting consumer testing / surveys
- Support team to build internal communications around the value of Consumer Insights and the translation of science into consumer centric concepts
- Support in the planning, organization and implementation of innovation workshops
- Collaboration on the preparation, analysis and presentation of macro/microeconomic data, trend reports and other sources
- Supporting the team in developing internal tools and documentation
While being probably mainly online (Covid19 dependent), the internship will be fully involved in the Consumer & Prototyping Design team in Lausanne getting into touch with many interesting projects and related experts, from Scientists, Designers to Culinary experts
What will make you successful
- Bachelor's degree studies in Marketing / Market Research
- An intrinsic enthusiasm for trends, innovation and digital media
- Experience in all relevant MS-Office tools and IT tools with special affinity and expertise in creating appealing shareable content
- Analytical way of thinking and bringing data together with your own interpretation as well as a structured, independent working style and the will to take responsibility
- Strong service-orientation towards internal stakeholders and great communication skills
- Fluency in English mandatory (written and spoken)
- First professional experience in marketing or market research is a plus
