As a Group Leader, you will lead data-driven research across our strategic research priorities in health sciences. A Day in the Life of a Group Leader
- Transform our health benefit portfolio towards data-driven translational research taking on a leadership role that puts data analytics and data modeling at the core of our projects
- Coordinate closely with subject matter experts to build research programs that leverage data from clinical and real-world trials as well as large cohort studies with a focus on modeling impact of nutrition on health outcomes
- Unlock consumer- and patient-facing precision nutrition strategies through digital ecosystems
- Work with a team of junior and senior scientists to enable their career ambitions as experts and managers
What will make you successful
- PhD with a minimum of 6-8 years post-graduate work experience in data science in the domain of life sciences
- Proficiency in data analytics including biostatistics, multi-omics analyses, deep learning and/or predictive modeling based on large datasets that include health- and nutrition/diet-related metadata
- Experience with mining nutrition data such as content of macronutrients, micronutrients and non-caloric bioactives from food and diet reports and predicting their effects on health outcomes is a plus
- Impactful contributions to product translation in a digital health, nutrition or pharmaceutical industry setting is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, and previous experience in team leadership
- Track record in scientific publications and a strong external network
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
