Position Summary

The Brand & Packaging Design Expert supports Global Brand(s) in the development, rollout and adaptation of Brand Identity,  Packaging Design Systems and Design fundamentals, driving design excellence and consistency globally.

Partnering closely with the assigned Strategic Business Unit (SBU) and their Global Strategic Design & Branding Agencies, this role acts as a design steward and subject matter expert, shaping, challenging and finalizing brand and packaging systems before global deployment.

The core purpose of this role is not campaign execution or digital design, but the ownership and guidance of brand identity and packaging frameworks for CPG brands—including portfolio architecture, design artworks, adaptation rollout and quality guardrails—enabling Zones and Markets to localize effectively without compromising brand integrity.

The role also supports the operationalization of Brand Design through the Nestlé Design Excellence Standard ways of working, preferred agency models and global tools, operating confidently within a complex, multi‑stakeholder organization.

  • Guides and governs packaging adaptation and localization, collaborating closely with Partner Agencies, Nestlé Business Services and Markets to ensure quality, efficiency and brand coherence.
  • Oversees the creation and evolution of Brand Standards and Brand Portal guidance, with a strong focus on packaging, portfolio architecture and brand expression.

  • Strong background in Consumer Packaged Goods packaging design, including portfolio architecture, artworks, adaptation rollouts and quality governance.
  • Experience owning or governing the rollout of brand and packaging systems, not just contributing to individual projects.
  • Ability to manage complexity, influence without authority and coach teams through change in a global organization.
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Degree in Design, Brand Strategy, Communication or related field.
