Position Summary

Support the Strategy and Service Delivery Head in the definition of the IBS risk and business continuity strategy, including interoperability to ensure IBS overall service reliability. Be force of proposal in the identification and investigation of "Disaster Recovery Plan" for long term disruption which may impact the network.

Be the point of contact of the E2E at IBS global level, Group Enterprise Risk Management Team, Risk Insurance Team, IT Business Continuity Management Team and Business Continuity Management Coordinators in NBS Centers.

 

A day in the life of... 

Risk Management

  • Drive the annual Enterprise Risk Management exercise with the NBS Center Mancoms to capture key risks and opportunities.
  • Drive the discussions and analyses for the identification and implementation of a "Disaster Recovery Plan" to mitigate long-term disruption, including the discussions and potential agreement with third parties.
  • Support and guide Risk owners to build and monitor mitigation or prevention actions and ensure proper update of the Risk profile in "Fusion" accordingly.

 

Business Continuity

  • Drive, support, and challenge, IBS E2E leads and Solution Design Managers at IBS Level in the definition of their Business Continuity Strategies (BCS) based on Business Impact Assessments (BIA) .
  • Review and challenge BCP tests planning to ensure proper coverage of the P1 and P2 activities and key Nestlé markets.
  • Monitor the execution of the testing plan and escalate any cancellation without justification.
  • Review information to be provided by the NBS BCM coordinators to meet BCM gatekeeper requirements and the target insurance level at NBS Level.
  • Ensure lessons learned of BCP (including IO) tests are well captured, plans are updated accordingly and shared with the rest of the BCM Community.
  • Track and support the relevant KPI´s defined within the function on a global level, using the appropriate tools and solutions.

 

Crisis Management

  • Contribute to create the IBS Crisis Management Team (CMT) and the required mechanisms to activate the Team in case of Major events.
  • Act as the primary back up coordinator of the IBS Crisis Management Team in case of absence of the IBS Strategy and Service Deliver Head.
  • Support the regular training of the IBS and NBS Crisis Management Teams.

 

Network engagement

  • Lead, guide and support on Risk and Business Continuity Management topics to the E2E leads at IBS and NBS level to ensure adequate level of understanding on IBS Business Continuity Strategy, as well as key responsibilities falling on IBS and NBS center teams.
  • Lead the IBS BCM community by supervising the Weekly/Monthly Meetings and ensuring the required documents are prepared on-time with the appropriate quality level.
  • Ensure an adequate level of knowledge on BCM best practices and standards in the NBS Centers by supporting the onboarding process and delivering trainings when required.

 

Coaching and development

  • Contribute to the development of the Business Continuity Specialist to prepare the person to take over the role of IBS Business Continuity Manager.


What will make you successful 

  • Experience in working in a cross-functional and networked organization (internal and external providers)
  • Prior experience in Risk Management, Business Continuity and Crisis Management
  • Prior experience in Finance & Control and the functional knowledge of key business processes such as Order to Cash, Source to Pay, HR Services, etc.
  • Excellent project management and result oriented skills.
  • Hand on experience and familiar with international BCM standards *I.e ISO 22301, etc.
  • Proven ability to manage initiatives across multiple teams, platforms, sites and cultures.
  • Good communication skills
  • Good level of independence in prioritizing efforts to be deployed and influencing with integrity in case of challenges.
  • Ability to easily guide the network in implementing the relevant business continuity plans.
