Position Summary

The Direct to Consumer Lead is a direct extension of the Global Website & D2C Services Solution Lead and is responsible to help build and optimize in-house service lines to support D2C websites, as well as, define the detailed processes and ensure the roll-out of the services for specific categories, zones and markets is executed flawlessly. Accountable for overall operational excellence of Integrated Marketing Services team across D2C projects and core services, the D2C lead will also support in managing team members upskill framework and workstreams definition to bring the services evolution and expansion vision to life, whilst adding value to the business by ensuring best in class services. He/she will bring the positive, proactive attitude, as well as ownership mindset. Continuously looking to evolve and advance the services, with a  multi-technology implementation approach, technology selection processes (if required), curating technology trends, identifying improvement opportunities, analyzing and solving issues (processes, tools...). Take the lead for the implementation projects of new services around D2C projects, website UX & Content Optimization, Analytics, User Journey, benchmarking, reporting and insights, Search as well as coordinate with other complementary activities/ services. 

 

A day in the life of...

- Build and evolve the core service lines for D2C projects, in closer coordination with Websites leads, based on overall service design and priorities defined by the Website & D2C Global Services Lead.

- Manage the implementation and execution of D2C projects for specific business/ category.

- Manage the building of a cross team relationship with other NBS centers and with IT through specific shared projects.
- Overseeing projects of D2C team including responsibility for cross-functional alignment (MSE, Market/Business/Function/NBS Operations). Acting as a go-to point of contact for business partners and operational teams. Managing relationships with business partners.

- Managing team members consisting of Supervisors in the area of D2C.

- Defining and help maintaining training plans for center teams, resource allocation and day-to-day activities. Aligning personal objectives to team objectives.

- Maximize the centers productivity by improving ways of working, processes, scale opportunities in the area of D2C.

- Owning and managing the development of measurement frameworks based on business needs.

- Creating or improving service delivery documents, creating proposals and business case documents ensuring digital best practices are included.

- Participate on the definition of customized roadmaps, team setups and phasing transition plans for specific category/ brands projects, coordinated by the Websites D2C Services lead and Services Integration Lead.    

- Promoter of the best practices of Nestle, coach and mentor for subordinates in order develop functional and leadership capabilities and prepare talents for the further career steps.


What will make you successful

- 5-10 years Digital Marketing, e-commerce/ D2C experience either at an agency or in a CPG company.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience managing people, teams.

- Technical Knowledge and ideally hands on Experience in Adobe Commerce Cloud/ Magento2; Shopify; SiteCore, etc.

- Experience in Hybrid e-commerce tech stack will be also valuable. 

- Ability to delegate and adapt management style to his team.

- Successful complex project management experience.

- Ability to work with remote stakeholders in a multi-cultural environment.

- A 360 degree understanding of D2C and e-commerce activities and landscape such as eCommerce, Mobile apps, email campaigns, Social Media campaigns, SEO/SEM, Analytics, personalization, etc.

- Good understanding of e-commerce Management Systems as well as order management, CRM and other ecommerce management tools.   

- Knowledge on analytics tools and concepts (Google Analytics, etc)  

- Good understanding of front-end optimization tools such as UX analysis (e.g. Glassbox), A/B testing (e.g. Optimizely), feedback tools (e.g. Get Feedback) and web analytics tools (Google Analytics) will also be an advantage.

- Good understanding of SEO concepts and tools such as BrighEdge or other similar leading tools.

- Ability to proactively and independently follow-up with business partners and teams to identify opportunities, sell-in strategies and oversee several projects.

- Ability to collaborate effectively across functions to meet common goals.

- Ability to work across many accounts/projects/ services seamlessly and simultaneously.

- Proven leadership with strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate across multiple reporting and stakeholders levels.

- Excellent presentation skills. Must be able to create emails, presentations and content that is client ready, grammatically correct, and error free.

- Experience managing remote teams.

- Experience working in FMCG (marketing, sales, communication, business analytics) industry a plus.
