Position Summary

 

For our Nespresso Hub team, we are currently looking for Global Senior Demand Planner. Reporting to the Demand Planning Manager, this professional will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving a realistic Demand Plan for a product portfolio, ensuring alignment with internal and external partners through the monthly business planning process, while identifying exceptions and monitoring performance to continuously enhance the plan’s quality, reliability, and the company’s responsiveness to changing circumstances.

 

A day in the life of... 

 

  • Collect Information and Assumptions received from Markets and HQ Marketing, Commercial and Finance;
  • Liaise with HQ Marketing and Commercial in order to understand if all launch or phase-out information have been submitted to the markets, prior to Supply Chain communication;
  • Request and support markets in providing their 18 rolling months demand plan of new products;
  • Ensure that phase-out products are reflected in the market 18 rolling months demand plan;
  • Consolidate and challenge market forecasts;
  • Check and challenge Market's DPA results;
  • Through systematic reporting, ad-hoc reports and communication ensure that Demand Plan information is available to all internal stakeholders;
  • Support the MBP meetings (MFR, MOR, Zone MBP) by collecting inputs from internal stakeholders and preparing the presentation materials;
  • Analyze the 18 rolling months demand plan and ensure alignment with Dynamic Forecasts;
  • Challenge Supply Chain Teams in the markets and understand if their 18 rolling months demand plan is consistent with business development;
  • Support markets with problem solving initiatives to reach KPI targets (e.g. GSTD, DMAIC).

 
What will make you successful 

 

  • University degree, preferably in Engineering, Management, Mathematics or Statistics.
  • At least 5 years of operational experience in Supply and Demand Planning areas is recommended;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English – any other language is an advantage;
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel and Power Point;
  • Knowledge in language programming (Phyton and Power BI) is a plus;
  • Eye for detail;
  • Proactivity;
  • Problem solving mindset;
  • Stakeholder management and engagement;
  • Conflict management.
