POSITION SUMMARY

As the link between Physical Logistics and IT, you will drive the performance and continuous improvement of logistics systems and digital solutions. The role focuses on business support, process optimization, data governance, and the successful delivery of Supply Chain digital transformation initiatives.

 

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Act as the functional expert and primary contact between Supply Chain Physical Operations and IT teams.
  • Gather business requirements and translate operational needs into system enhancements and digital solutions.
  • Support the lifecycle of logistics applications, including SAP, SAP TM, CARGOO and Transporeon, through implementations, upgrades and continuous improvements.
  • Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate new functionalities before deployment.
  • Provide first-line functional support and troubleshoot system and process issues in collaboration with IT teams.
  • Maintain customer master data and support data governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Support key logistics processes including order management, shipment execution, invoicing, returns, credit/debit notes and document management.
  • Monitor invoice posting activities and resolve system exceptions to ensure smooth month-end closing.
  • Develop and maintain reports and analytics that support logistics performance and business decision-making.
  • Drive automation, AI adoption and continuous improvement initiatives across logistics operations.
  • Contribute to strategic Supply Chain digital transformation projects and ensure successful implementation of new solutions.

 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

  • University degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations within an international environment.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP and logistics-related systems, including master data, transactional processes and reporting.
  • Experience translating business requirements into system or IT solutions.
  • Ability to troubleshoot system and process issues, identify root causes and drive resolution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a focus on simplification, continuous improvement and automation.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to data accuracy and governance.
  • Excellent prioritization, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across business and IT teams in a complex international environment.
  • Fluent English; additional languages are considered an advantage.
