Position Summary 

Support the NBS Risk & Business Continuity Manager in the implementation and continuous improvement of the NBS Risk & Business Continuity strategy, operating model and governance framework. Partner with End-to-End (E2E) teams, NBS Centers, Global IT and external service providers to strengthen organizational resilience through effective risk management, business continuity, crisis management, interoperability and recovery planning.Act as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert, driving the implementation of business recovery strategies, coordinating testing and assurance activities, facilitating the Enterprise Risk Management cycle, and supporting the development of a resilient and recovery-ready NBS network. 

  

A day in the life of...

Enterprise Risk Management

  • Support the annual Enterprise Risk Management cycle across NBS Centers and E2E teams, facilitating the identification, assessment and monitoring of key operational and strategic risks.
  • Drive the quality and completeness of risk information, mitigation plans and risk reporting within approved governance frameworks and systems.
  • Partner with risk owners to challenge, monitor and track mitigation and prevention actions.
  • Analyze emerging risks, trends and vulnerabilities that may impact the delivery of critical NBS services.
  • Prepare risk reporting, dashboards and insights for leadership decision-making.

Business Continuity & Recovery

  • Support E2E teams in conducting Business Impact Assessments (BIA), defining Recovery Time Objectives (RTOs) and identifying critical business recovery requirements.
  • Drive the implementation of Business Recovery Strategies across NBS Centers and solution lines.
  • Support interoperability initiatives, ensuring recovery capabilities are operational through knowledge transfers, role allocation and readiness activities.
  • Ensure E2Es and Centers maintain the Business Continuity Plans accurate, current and aligned with business requirements.
  • Monitor implementation progress and escalate risks, issues and recovery capability gaps.

Testing, Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate the NBS Business Continuity testing program and support the execution of recovery exercises across the network.
  • Validate testing results, document lessons learned and ensure remediation actions are tracked through completion.
  • Support the development of scalable testing methodologies and resilience standards.
  • Monitor compliance with Business Continuity governance requirements, KPIs and assurance objectives.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of Risk & Business Continuity methodologies, processes and tools.

Crisis Management

  • Support the maintenance and evolution of the NBS Crisis Management framework.
  • Coordinate crisis management exercises, simulations and preparedness activities.
  • Support crisis response activities through coordination, communications, action tracking and situation reporting.
  • Maintain crisis management documentation, escalation procedures and contact structures.

Community & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Coordinate the global NBS Business Continuity community and facilitate regular governance forums and working sessions.
  • Build strong relationships across NBS Centers, E2E teams and third-party providers.
  • Deliver Business Continuity awareness and training programs.
  • Promote the adoption of Risk & Business Continuity standards, best practices and ways of working across the organization.
  • Act as deputy to the NBS Risk & Business Continuity Manager when required. 


What will make you successful

  • Proven experience in Business Continuity Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Crisis Management or Operational Resilience.
  • Strong understanding of Business Impact Analysis, Business Recovery Strategies and resilience testing methodologies.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization with multiple stakeholders and service providers.
  • Strong project management and execution skills, with the ability to coordinate initiatives across teams, locations and functions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills - Fluent in English.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex risks into practical business solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Continuity standards and frameworks, including ISO 22301.
  • Experience in shared services, business services or large operational environments is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without direct authority and drive outcomes through collaboration.
  • Ability to operate effectively at both strategic and operational levels.
