Position Summary
For our Nestlé Procurement Area, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist for Services and Indirect Materials.
Reporting to the Market Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for designing , developing, validating, communicating, and implementing sourcing strategies for SIM (Services and Indirect materials), following the Strategic Sourcing tools, models, and policies developed by Nestrade and applying Nestlé’s Standardized Procurement Model.
A day in the life of...
- Define and implement strategies for locally managed categories (some at Iberian level), using the tools, models, and policies from the Strategic Sourcing Process developed by Nestrade;
- In alignment with the Global Procurement Teams, implement global strategies within the local market, considering potential specificities;
- Prepare and lead negotiation processes with suppliers and partners, focused on improving service levels and securing commercially advantageous terms that create sustainable value for the company;
- Ensure compliance with business principles, policies, standards, the Nestlé Procurement Policy, the Standardized Procurement Model, the Nestlé Supplier Code, Best Practices, etc.;
- Build relationships with stakeholders to integrate category plans and results into local budgets and price planning processes as needed;
- Integrate innovation, renovation, and supplier cost-improvement elements into Nestlé’s innovation and renovation processes;
- In partnership with the Business Units, lead planning and regular SLA reviews of contracts with suppliers and other functional partners;
- Ensure that effective contract management follow-up activities are in place (e.g., SAP contracts, purchasing info records, master data, etc.).
What will make you successful
- University degree in Management, Economics, Supply Chain, or related fields;
- More than 2 years of experience in a similar management-related area;
- Negotiation experience;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Good level of English (mandatory);
- Good level of Spanish;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (mandatory);
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Analytical and results-driven mindset;
- Proactive and determined approach to execution and implementation;
- Solid planning and organizational skills.
