POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Sales Controller to join our Finance and Control team. Your main mission will be to promote fact-based decision-making, identify risks and opportunities and define measures to achieve targets. You will have a sound financial and business knowledge, drive projects and challenge new strategies related to sales as well as the status quo

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SALES CONTROLLER

  • Participate in the development of customer and channel strategy and ensure that the commercial plan is defined and executed according to the strategy. Analyse monthly performance supported by high quality reports, and reliably measure key KPIs;
  • Participate in monthly business planning, producing estimates per client, providing visibility of global performance and aligning with the Business Controller on future risks and opportunities;
  • Internal controls to ensure commercial investments and procedures comply with internal and external policies;
  • In collaboration with Sales, ensure optimisation of commercial investments based on pre- and post-evaluation analysis;
  • Ensure proper accounting of promotional activities to ensure quality of financial information for decision making;
  • Identify risk areas and opportunities to achieve business objectives, ensure their transparency and visibility to all stakeholders and coordinate action plans to close gaps;
  • Promote and develop financial knowledge in the sales area.

 

 

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL

 

  • Degree/ Master’s degree in Management, Economics, Finance or similar;
  • At least 4 years' experience in management control or business support functions;
  • Solid command of Excel;
  • Good knowledge of English;
  • Excellent results and service orientation;
  • Strong planning and organisational skills;
  • Solid analytical skills and attention to detail;
  • Critical sense and willingness to identify and solve problems;
  • Ability to influence and collaborate with various stakeholders
