Position Snapshot

Location: Linda-a-Velha, Lisbon, Portugal.

Company: Nestlé Business Services Lisbon (NBS Lisbon)

Timetable: Full-time (40h)

Position Summary

Support the Business/Market in managing content on Nestlé corporate/brand websites and/or Internal platforms, ensuring consistency and maintaining high-quality information standards across the websites.
The Website Content Management Specialist is part of a broader team focusing on websites content management and optimization.
Update website content, perform webmastering activities, configure CMS based on markets/business requests (via a tool).
Update front-end by performing light front-end coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Monitor and track website performances via front-end and content optimization tools. 
Draft recommendations and eventually implement those feasible via CMS and other global tools. Roles requires knowledge of Google tools such as Analytics.

A day in the life of...

- Manage content across assigned website
- Install new content and edit existing HTML within CMS platform; ensure content is accurate; ensure timely publication
- Re-structure the articles by content writers according to Nestlé style
- Source images
- Improve/create illustrations in Photoshop in collaboration with marketing and design teams
- Optimize published pieces using SEO guidelines
- Craft and send monthly news letters
- Compliance checks and follow up (e.g. fixing broken links, fixing 5XX errors, fixing 404 errors, implement redirects, adding missing ALT tags, meta data etc)
- Maintain the websites once content is live and ensure the information is accurate
- Monitoring web traffic and user engagement (e.g. bounce rates etc.)
- Developing documentation
- Ad-hoc tasks (e.g. testing new functionalities)

What will make you successful

1. University Degree ideally in Digital Media, Digital Communication or Digital Technologies
2. Excellent speaking, writing and editing skills in English
3. Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal 8 and 9) and photo editing with Photoshop
2. Proven web-mastering and content optimization experience (previous projects and experience) and knowledge of Google webmastering tools.
9. Knowledge of web design and UX
5. Familiarity with SEO concepts and tools 
5. Familiarity with  Analytics concepts and tools (Google Analytics, Data Studio...)
3. Ability to work with ticketing and workflow tool.
4. Highly proactive, motivated, and innovative thinker, with ability and willingness to share his/her knowledge with peers.
5. A team oriented mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance and resilience.
6. Meeting deliverable requirements, service level agreements and specific targets.
7. Defining continuous improvement in daily activities.
8. Ensuring good time management (including down time).
9. Good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times.
10. Implementing self-assessment quality assurance.
11. Working in a corporate and multi-cultural environment
