Position Summary

The Web Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data from various web sources to help inform business decisions. They will work with cross-functional teams to identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations.


A Day in the life of...

  • Collect and analyze data from web analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) and other data sources to identify trends and patterns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop KPIs and establish benchmarks for website performance.
  • Project Management for data tracking implementation across multiple web properties
  • Build dashboards and reports to present data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to evaluate the impact of changes to the website.
  • Collaborate with web developers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate data tracking and reporting.
  • Monitor website performance and provide regular reports on key metrics to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web analytics and data analysis.

 

What will make you successful

  • University Degree ideally specialized in Marketing, Public Relations, and/or Computer Science, Maths or any other related fields
  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Technologies and Data & Analytics fields (focused in Website and Mobile Apps analytics)
  • Deep understanding of using data visualisation tools (Google Data studio, Power BI), product analytics dashboarding is a plus.
  • Basic SQL knowledge
  • Deep knowledge of Google Analytics (Universal Analytics and GA4)
  • Project Management skills and knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of Google Optimize and experience doing A/B testing
  • Basic understanding of Google Tag Manager
  • Proven Web Analytics experince (previous projects and experience)
  • Excel advanced knowledge (analyze & structure data)
  • Basic understanding on how website data layer works in Drupal CMS
  • High mathematical/analytical skills 
  • Understanding marketing processes
  • High communication skills and coordination of multiple stakeholders in complex and fast changing environments

Data warehouse and cloud solutions basic understanding (GCP, BigQuery, Azure)
