Position Summary
As a Website Services Quality Assurance Specialist you will be responsible for the quality of the Nestlé corporate/brand website projects and functional quality of technical solutions provided by the Website Content Management team and the Tech team. The QA specialist is responsible for test execution within allocated timeframe, making sure that Project deliverables are compliant with Market/Brand requirements. Follow the Testing process. Ensuring visibility and traceability of testing process for high-quality deliverables. Define the scope of testing within the context of each assigned project/task. Report the appropriate test measurements and metrics to the Testing Team.

A day in the life of...

  • During the project kickoff/start and requirement gathering stage, assist and let the team lead know of any improvements or inconsistencies. Gather requirements during walkthrough meetings.
  • Provide inputs on areas of the test plan document, such as: scope, assumptions, risks and any other area that the team member has an input on.
  • Be in charge for your individual project type/stage. Participate and contribute to test scenario creation, writing test cases for functional testing of technical solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation of the traceability matrix for the category that you are individually responsible for.
  • Execute test cases, set appropriate test case statuses and report progress. Notify immediately of showstoppers or issues impacting testing timelines. Report defects comprehensively.
  • Assist the team lead in daily status reports to all team members involved in Project/delivery completion.
  • Assist the team lead in the test closure tasks (e.g test closure report, official QA sign off etc.). Provide information about the overall project- its successes, areas of improvement, lessons learnt, best practices implemented, etc.
     

What will make you successful

  • Advanced level of English.
  • Basic knowledge of STLC and SDLC preferred.
  • 1+ Years of experience as a QA manager or other relevant role.
  • Data analysis and statistical skills.
  • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal 7 and 8) and content optimization.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, Java.
  • Ability to work with ticketing and workflow tool.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Defining continuous improvement in daily activities.
  • A team-oriented mentality and attitude where the work is approached with empathy, enthusiasm, ownership, responsibility, adaptability, balance and resilience.
  • Meeting deliverable requirements, service level agreements and specific targets.
  • Ensuring good time management (including down time).
  • Good communication skills (team collaboration, call, chat, email, tickets, etc.) with excellent response times.
