Position Overview:
As a Quality Assurance Trainee, you will collaborate with Quality Technicians to uphold Nestlé’s exceptional manufacturing standards. You will work closely with operations leads and machine operators to identify, resolve, and prevent quality and food safety issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review processing records for accuracy and compliance with factory and regulatory standards.
- Conduct inspections of processing areas to ensure product quality, service excellence, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Monitor formula specifications and maintain accurate record-keeping for compliance.
- Manage "Out of Specification" materials and communicate effectively with supervisors.
- Collect microbiological samples to ensure a safe factory environment.
- Maintain clean and orderly workspaces.
- Gather and relay information to assist management in food safety and quality decisions.
- Engage in team problem-solving efforts to address production challenges.
- Participate in initiatives aimed at continuous quality improvement.
- Provide training support for line operators to ensure timely and accurate process checks as per Quality Management System (QMS) standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in food manufacturing is a plus but not mandatory.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently.
- Strong time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
