TRAVEL: up to 50% between the Medford, WI and Little Chute, WI factories

 

SUMMARY:

The role works from one primary factory and supports additional sites by travel. Role provides guidance and support to define the factory strategy and develop their Autonomous Operational teams. 
                  
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business priorities & category ambition
  • Loss analysis / External benchmarks
  • 3 years planned progression of KPI's, People and workplace transformation (Factory Vision)
  • Digital tools to help factory improve losses with applicable/relevant
  • Ensure cascading of the aligned priorities and measures 
  • Coach and support the Factory ME Manager to leverage NCE to support the business needs and deliver the expected results
  • Evaluating the strategies and execution of the autonomous workforce development plans
  • Develop the Factory ME Manager on key system/tool competences based on the development plan to develop an autonomous operational team, including helping them develop the production leads
  • Support the development of Critical Competence of Factory Leadership Team 
  • Provides hands on approach to Factory Leadership Team, Pillar and System Owners to accelerate improvements of results (coach by doing with factory)
  • Ensures an overall understanding of the different NCE methodologies (pillars) within the functions and how they integrate through the NCE implementation plan
  • Develop the Factory ME Manager and Production Manager on key system/tool competences based on the development plan to develop an autonomous operational team
  • Enable factories to drive and execute the NCE Implementation Plan to improve and sustain the results by coaching NCE practices
  • Promote and support factory reapplication of NCE best practices, standards, and improvements across category/factories
  • Coach the factory leadership team in driving the NCE rollout plan to transform people and workplace creating an autonomous operational team
  • Provides calibration of manufacturing assessments and maturity level check to Factory ME manager and FLT
  • Evaluate the health of systems, tools, and competence building to improve the factory results in a continuous and sustainable manner. Escalate functional support resource needs where applicable
  • Support the Factory with adoption and integration of NCE Practices and digital systems
  • Single point of contact for coaching support for autonomy related digital systems     

 

EXPERIENCE:

  • Factory experience (7+ years), preferable acting as Factory ME Manager or Production / Maintenance Manager.
  • Strong Practical experience in leading and coaching NCE Practices (Goal Alignment, TPM, Lean - 7+ years), preferably experience in several pillars.
  • Successfully lead and develop cross-functional teams and working with senior management
  • Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and business connections with direct and indirect stakeholders
  • Advanced competence of NCE (TPM, GA, FI, LVS)
  • Advanced Problem Solving capabilities (Green Belt Preferred)
  • Strong competence of key manufacturing standards 
  • Project Management competence
  • Understanding of Basic Finance & Value Creation
  • Knowledge of key data systems (SAP, NSAM, etc.) & digital technologies to drive results
