Join our team as a Commercial Development Specialist and you will be responsible for incorporating shopper insights, defining category growth drivers, and fostering strong partnerships with distributors to drive successful trade activations and maximize return on investment.

A day in the life of Commercial Development Specialist Food Slovenia

 

 

  • Incorporate shopper insights into all trade implementation processes.
  • Understand and apply category growth drivers and the Omnic/Channel Category Strategy process.
  • Ensure that agreed Category Growth Drivers and Activation Platforms are implemented in all initiatives.
  • Align customer initiatives with category growth drivers and activation platforms.
  • Implement category channel plans based on agreed channel prioritization.
  • Monitor and ensure accurate reflection of channel prioritization and plans in sales plans and trade implementation.
  • Embed a strategic relationship management (SRM) mindset, analysis, and knowledge into daily routines.
  • Align with corporate commercial development team processes and tools.
  • Drive the alignment of executable brand, channel, customer, and field sales plans.
  • Proactively manage gaps between objectives and actuals at a corporate level.
  • Implement executable brand, customer, and field sales plans to meet annual business targets.
  • Coordinate execution and track delivery of commercial plans to leverage opportunities and optimize resource allocations.
  • Implement point-of-sale material (POSM) process to minimize losses in the warehouse.
  • Continuously monitor budget spending in line with agreed planning.
  • Optimize promotion plans based on systematic promotional evaluation to improve ROI.
  • Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies through regular audits.

 

 

What will make you successful?

 

  • Ideally, you are a proactive person with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • You are good communicator, have developed interpersonal skills and a good team player.
  • You have an university degree in relevant field and at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Sales, Trade Marketing or Marketing.
  • You have advanced knowledge of English language, both written and spoken.
  • You are an advanced user of MS Office package.
