As a Trade Marketing Specialist for the Confectionery category in Slovenia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, you’ll play a key role in turning our marketing and sales strategies into meaningful experiences for shoppers. From understanding what drives people’s choices to making sure our brands stand out on the shelf – your work will directly impact our performance on the market.

Trade Marketing Specialist Confectionery SLO & BiH 

A day in the life of Trade Marketing Specialist Confectionery SLO & BiH • Plans and executes trade activities with a focus on shopper insights – from product innovations to communication at the point of sale
• Applies category growth strategies across all initiatives: product launches, pricing and promotions, sales channels, and visibility materials
• Builds customer initiatives based on agreed activation platforms and continuously improves based on evaluation
• Implements channel plans aligned with business priorities and ensures they are reflected in sales activities
• Promotes a value-based approach to pricing and promotions, integrating data analysis and ROI evaluation into daily routines
• Aligns with corporate tools and processes, ensuring commercial plans are executable across brands, channels, and customers
• Leads coordination and follow-up on commercial plans, identifying opportunities, maximizing synergies, and ensuring efficient resource use
• Implements visibility (POSM) processes and minimizes warehouse losses
• Monitors market trends and competitive actions to identify growth opportunities for the confectionery category
• Manages budget planning and tracking in line with agreed spending
• Supports operational and administrative tasks for the Croatian market (purchase orders, budget tracking, in-store activations, and coordination with local teams)
• Ensures compliance with Nestlé policies and principles in all aspects of the role

What will make you successful?

• You have a university degree and 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, customer management or a related field
• You are confident in negotiations and have strong planning and analytical skills
• You enjoy working with people and managing projects, with a focus on results
• You are team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
• You are fluent in English, both written and spoken
• You are an advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
