Position Summary

We’re a leader in the pet care category and part of the world’s largest food company—so you can imagine our salesforce is BIG. In pet care, we focus our sales efforts within the retail and veterinary sales channels to ensure we’re at the forefront of consumers’ minds. You’ll become the expert in our products and the face behind Purina brands to your customers—some of the most well recognized and loved brands around world.

As the Business Development Manager for Kroger, you’ll identify solutions for growth and exemplify leadership and strategy around data and analytics within customer environments to develop go-to market solutions that drive competitive advantage. The opportunity to work cross-functionally with IT, Consumer & Marketplace Insights, and Total Sales, among others, will enable your ability to drive stronger alignment between retailers and our Team, ensuring the success of our Portfolio of Brands through short and long-term strategies.

 

  • Ability to translate business requirements and extract technical needs to deliver optimal reporting and analytics solutions while providing consistent updates
  • Influence through prioritizing key internal partners to aid in organizational success
  • Be the subject matter expert for data tools, systems, and data streams to ensure accuracy
  • Coach the analysts during monthly business analysis, focusing on division specific business development
  • Lead development, improvement, and execution of the shipment forecast process
  • Lead the digital media and content development and execution

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • 3+ years of experience in digital category development, business analytics or marketing
  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft self-service platform (Power Bi, Power Automate, Power Apps), SAP, and Business Objects

 

Other

  • Previous experience with Market 6/IRI/Power BI, or RSI syndicated data preferred

The approximate pay range for this position is $105,000 to $140,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
