Sr Manager Customer Account-Nutrition: Kroger and Albertsons
Position Summary
Manage/develop resources of Customer Teams to deliver assigned volume, share and profit goals. Establish team objectives and build integrated business plans and customer relationships. Leverage multi-functional resources for customer and business development. Develop associates through training, coaching and motivating. Key measures include: Volume, Share, and Profitability (MC including Trade), Financial Management (checkbook management, admin budget, and deductions), People - recruit and retain top talent, develop associates for next position, foster diversity in the workplace.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead the joint business planning process with team to achieve performance objectives.
- Develop high level working relationships with the key decision makers within customer’s organization.
- Recruit, develop and retain top talent.
- Promote workforce diversity and upward mobility among team members
- Develop team member’s skills and competencies through Nestle Career Paths
- Continuous improvement of the performance management process with each direct report, including creation of the Progress & Development Guide (PDG), check-pointing progress, identifying and addressing performance issues, recognizing and reinforcing performance excellence and evaluating year-end results and performance.
- Improve organizational performance of best practices through active use of OCR, CSI and OCQ reviews.
- Planning, Business Analysis and Problem Solving
- Communicate understanding of Nestle brand strategies and tactics with team and customer.
- Accurately forecast projected monthly and annual sales volume and margin contributions.
- Identify profitable opportunities to grow incremental volume.
- Continuously monitor and analyze customers overall business plan and progress in meeting goals and adjust activities as needed.
- Manage expenditure of financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner through use of Nestle Trade Management Tool (TMT).
- Leverage dedicated team resources appropriately.
- Lead the development of annual customized customer “go to market” programs.

Travel: 30% as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required
- Minimum 5+ years in account management, business development or category development experience with the CPG industry
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Finance preferred
Skills:
- Strong Interpersonal, Facilitation and Presentation skills
- Sound Financial and Forecasting skills
- Headquarter Selling and Negotiation skills
- People leadership, Project Management and Analysis skills
- Decision making skills
