Corporate Communication & Public Affairs Specialist

Minimum Educational qualification: BA/BS with major or minor in Public Communications or any relevant field

Minimum Relevant work experience:  Public relations or journalisms and or corporate affairs or corporate communications or media relations track-record (5-10 years).

 

 

POSITION SUMMARY

Nestlé Angola is currently looking for a Corporate Communication & Public Affairs Specialist who bring permanent decision support to the Division head and to the managers of all key business functions. Monitor, communicate and challenge the performance of the business.

The individual will ensure proper internal control on all major & critical business processes and also to enhance and strengthen Nestlé’s corporate reputation with external and internal stakeholders; to create a communications environment that fosters positive attitude, openness, engagement and exceptional performance; to build recognition of Nestlé as the leading NHW organisation; to enhance CSV objectives; to influence regulatory policy to facilitate business operations.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and relationships with Key stakeholders and the Corporate Contacts database
  •  Manage media requests and tell Nestlé stories
  •  Identify and monitor public issues 
  •  Implement and manage CSV / NHW projects

 

 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Experience in public or private sector or not-for-profit organisation
  • Strong public and corporate affairs track-record (5 –10 years)
  • Crisis management and change management experience desirable
  • Experience of managing community projects
  • Experience of not-for-profit organizations
  • Experience of media relations management
  • Ability to manage complexity
  • Good understanding of national regulations   
  • Have required documentation to work in Angola
  • Proficiency in English and Portuguese
