Minimum Educational qualification: Minimum Engineering Technician Diploma.
Minimum Relevant work experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 year’s relevant work experience either during or after studies.

Nestlé Angola is currently looking for an Engineering Technician who will support engineering operations by safely and efficiently installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems, ensuring reliability, quality, and compliance with technical and safety standards.
Your responsibilities
- Carries out on all line operations troubleshooting and repairs, improving performance of processing equipment.
- Follow up and carries out maintenance plans as scheduled.
- Ensure that the working areas are kept clean, organized and safe in accordance to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Ensure familiarization with all running equipment parameters, set points and packaging integrity.
- Ensure support of line operations and operations planners in training of operators on equipment operations and preventive maintenance.
- Ability to run each equipment if need be during emergency.
- Understand current line efficiency, performance and daily indicators and issues affecting them.
- Ensure strict compliance to safety of self, product, workplace and colleagues while carrying out his activities.
- Carries out any other job assigned by his immediate supervisor.
- Follow SOPs, safety rules, and permit-to-work requirements.
- Support shutdowns, breakdowns, and continuous improvement activities.
- Assist engineers during installation, commissioning, and project execution
What makes you successful?
- Minimum of an Engineering Technician Diploma.
- Minimum of 3 to 4 year’s relevant work experience either during or after studies.
- Ability to showcase excellent knowledge in the use of SAP.
- Ability to exhibit computer literacy and to be able to showcase Microsoft Office applications skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Presentation).
- Ability to exhibit understanding of factory organization and accountabilities and responsibilities.
- Ability to communicate in English & Portuguese Languages.
- Good attitude to work and ability to interact with people.
- Demonstration of followership ability within a factory environment.
- Demonstration of communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with an FMCG is an added advantage.
