Minimum Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Costing, Finance, Accounting or related field.
Minimum Relevant work Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in Finance or a similar position.

Nestlé Angola is currently looking for a Factory Cost Specialist who will provide crucial support to the factory controller across various functions, including costing, stock variances, price maintenance etc. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. This role is essential for ensuring the seamless operation of finance activities and supporting the overall objectives of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs General ledger/Vendor/Customer reconciliation
- Daily follows up on open items
- Daily Material ledger/vendor/Customer reconciliation
- Follows up on Material usage variance (MUV) actions
- Simulations of TCOP or potential new SKUS
- Performs total cost of production (TCOP)
- Perform monthly stock count raw and packing material (RPM)
- Performs monthly stock count fixed asset
- Performs monthly stock count spare parts
- Performs material costing on system
- Provides General Ledger (GL) and Cost Centre (CC) to departments
- Supports factory Period End Closure (PEC) activities
- Support adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Other factory related tasks assigned by factory controller when needed.
WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Costing, Finance, Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years relevant work experience in Finance or a similar position.
- Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
- Possesses excellent mathematical and dynamic problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with accounting software.
- Possesses good time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and on a team
- Attention to details.
- The ability to positively confront and effectively deal with non-compliance, good "soft Skills", communications etc.
- The ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices.
- The ability to ensure smooth operation through effective staff management and deployment
- The ability to set effective and challenging objectives.
- Possesses a good command on English and Portuguese Languages.
