Nestlé Angola is currently looking for an HR Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of HR services across the Cluster by managing employee lifecycle processes, driving the learning agenda, fostering engagement and wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with all employment-related obligations. The HR Coordinator acts as a trusted partner to employees and management, safeguarding both people and business priorities.

Deliver local HR services within the defined SLAs (Quality, time, accuracy and compliance) acting as  the customer facing representative for the administrative activities.

 

Your responsibilities

 

HR Services Management

 

• Efficiently administer end-to-end HR operations (onboarding, contracts, payroll inputs, exits).

• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely reporting.

• Provide responsive support to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.

• Drive continuous improvement in HR service delivery through digital tools and process optimization.

 

Learning & Development Execution

 

- Coordinate the Cluster learning agenda in line with Nestlé’s global framework.

•  Organize training programs, workshops, and e-learning initiatives.

• Track participation, measure effectiveness, and report learning outcomes.

•  Support talent development initiatives, including succession planning and career pathing.

 

Welfare & Wellbeing

• Champion wellbeing initiatives (mental health, work-life balance, wellness programs).

• Ensure workplace safety and promote a positive, inclusive environment.

• Coordinate welfare activities such as staff events, CSR participation, and community outreach.

•Manage annual and parental leave records and provide Line Managers with visibility on utilization.

 

Employee Engagement & Culture

- Implement engagement activities that strengthen Nestlé’s values and leadership competencies.

• Support communication campaigns and recognition programs.

• Facilitate employee surveys and follow-up action plans.

• Act as a bridge between employees and leadership, ensuring feedback loops are effective.

 

Benefits & Compliance Management

• Administer health insurance schemes and ensure smooth claims processing.

• Manage social security contributions and statutory benefits across countries.

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, Nestlé policies, and international standards.

• Prepare audit-ready documentation and liaise with regulators when required.

• Coordinate tracking compliance to policy on working time and work arrangement.

 

 

What Makes You Successful?  

 

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or relevant field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Training and Learning / Talent Management.
  • Knowledge of the labor law.
  • Experience and easy mental access to Talent-IT systems
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Good relationship management skills - Capability to handle cross functional/hierarchical relationships. 
  • Good project management skills.
  • Proficient in the use of basic Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and SAP.
  • Proficiency in the English Language ,mandatory.
