Minimum Relevant work experience: 3 to 5 years or more working experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Activations or FMCG experience working with cross-functional teams.

Nestlé is currently looking for a Modern Trade Channel Manager who will be responsible for developing Channel’s strategy in the market, aiming at sustainable and profitable growth and expanding market share. This includes ensuring effective planning, monitoring and execution of commercial activities on the designated channel.

 

Your responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with category team members to develop activity tactics that enable the achievement of channel growth objectives (price, promotion, distribution, product, point of sale).
  • Propose practical solutions at the point of sale based on a clear understanding of shopper behavior in the designated channel.
  • Supervises selected agency sales promoters, being the main point of contact for Nestlé, to ensure the implementation of the Success Plan in the store and the execution of the planogram.
  • Collaborates and supports the CDT manager in all aspects related to the brand/channel during monthly sales analysis meetings.
  • Responsible for coordinating and aligning category teams in the implementation of all initiatives proposed for the designated channel.
  • Regularly monitors, updates and communicates the latest developments, trends, initiatives and actions of competitors in designated channels, assessing implications and opportunities for the category and brands.
  • Channel-specific POPM management.
  • Responsible for preparing category-specific sales materials to support activities and activations that require execution by field sales teams.
  • Responsible for BSO coverage and Channel Growth.
  • Responsible for developing activities for the Comércio Moderno channels.
  • Responsible for tactical activities such as promotion planning and execution, price and discount management, performance tracking, coordination with sales and trade marketing teams, and ensuring in-store execution aligned with commercial priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with all company principles and policies.

 

 

What Will Make You Successful?

  • 3 to 5 years or more working experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, Activations or FMCG experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in marketing, sales or similar areas.
  • Ability to influence and be persuasive in people management and development.
  • Possess Result orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate business and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Capability to influence and have persuasive presentation skills.
  • Experience with category, channel or customer management.
  • Excellent proficiency with the English and Portuguese Languages.
