Nestlé Angola is currently looking for a Nestlé Professional Channel Manager who will develop and lead the sustainable profitable growth of the OOH Channel within the Cluster and ensure the development of high performing OOH team.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the implementation of relevant categories plans within OOH channels. Develop targets and support strategies and activities to achieve short term and long term business targets. Support business units to define strategies and plans to deliver category growth with OOH channel.
  • Works with the relevant Category teams to define the activity plan that deliver OOH channel growth objectives (portfolio, price, promotion, POCM).
  • Sets targets for OOH sub-channels. Lead and manage the Branch/ Regional NP Field Sales Supervisors to deliver agreed sales KPIs.
  • Collaborate with RSM & Customer Service to deliver sell-in and F&B Sales to deliver sell-out within the OOH channel and leverage the Nestlé  in Market Route to Market Manager( NiM RtM) to deliver agreed sales KPIs. Constantly track and review the performance to ensure results and effectiveness.
  • Lead and ensure good execution of NP Beverage and Food Categories plans as per the Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP).
  • Continuously work with National Sales Manager ensure expansion of OOH Customer and existing Channel (Street, B&I, CVS, Hotel Restaurants & Café (HORECA), Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), Field Sales Representative (FSR) & develop new and emerging Channel (Education, Travel & Transport & LSE) through the evolution of the Route to Market to drive efficiency.
  • Support the National Sales Manager in development of strong, functionally & aligned ICP plans for OOH Channels (including coverage, trade terms, visibility, promotions (with TTS and Channel allocated PFME budget) leading to outstanding execution.
  • Trade asset management: Supervisor  TAMs in the clusters to ensure best in class performance on all Trade asset management KPIs.
  • Lead / perform key distributor reviews and engagements in collaboration with Nestlé in Market (NiM) for NP monthly Target achievement and submit reviews of top distributors and OOH dedicated distributors
  • Demonstrate leadership and facilitate development of his/her team.

 

WHAT MAKES YOU SUCCESSFUL?

  • Minimum of a 1st degree , supplemented by internal or external courses related to food service management, hotel/restaurant management or institution management.
  • More than 10 years in business with at least 5 years  in sales. Over this period has successfully delivered  on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) especially top and bottom line results.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in marketing or any other related function, ideally in commercial-related fields or equivalent FMCG experience working with cross-functional teams.  
  • Excellent customer service skills, follow up skills, negotiating skills, strategic thinking, influencing, strong communication & presentation skills and good analytical skills.

  • Excellent proficiency with the English and Portuguese languages.
