Your job
We are looking for a new Sales Controller to join our incredible team in Oslo, Norway. You will become part of the Nordic Sales Controlling team, which is comprised of 11 Sales Controllers spread across the Nordic countries. As our new colleague, you will be a co-pilot to both the commercial organization and to the finance community, supporting and analyzing the daily operations to drive profitable growth. You will support decision-making with your financial viewpoints; translating these to the commercial organization is key in this role.

 

Our Finance organization is fast-moving and professional, but with an informal and collegial tone. People are our greatest asset, and teamwork is key to our success. In this role, you will be able to create a large network across global functions and the local organization. In periods, the work pace is high, but we always have fun together, and it is important for us to ensure a good balance between work life and private life.
 
In this role, key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Providing actionable insights and recommendations to drive business actions and achieve targets and ambitions, with a focus on pricing, mix, and value creation elements.
  • Preparation of monthly forecasting and financial presentations for sales meetings.
  • Involvement in business cases, supporting the commercial organization in decision-making.
  • Ownership of maintaining pricing framework.
  • Analyses and support to ensure profitable growth at the customer level, addressing vital elements in the value chain (i.e., what we sell, to whom, and when).
  • Supporting the promotion evaluation process to maximize the return on investment on trade spend.
  • Ensuring rock solid management and accounting practices for the trade investment.
  • Ensuring proper closing activities (PEC) and reconciliation of trade investment.
  • Monthly reporting internally and to headquarters.
  • Optimizing and challenging the status-quo on current ways of working and processes.
  • Ad hoc analyses.
  • Actively engaging with the Sales Controlling team across the Nordics to achieve the team’s common objectives, building skills, and continuously improving ways of working.

Qualifications
We imagine that you hold a relevant educational background within Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or similar. In addition to this, you bring minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience from controlling, business partnering, or similar, preferably from a large multinational organization. You are an experienced user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint. You are fluent in English, and ideally also in Norwegian, but the latter is not a must.

 

As a person, you are someone who gets along well with colleagues at all levels of the business, as you are dependent on input from and sound cooperation with many different internal stakeholders. You are hungry to learn new things while also having the courage to challenge and speak your mind, even to those more senior than you. Additionally, we are looking for someone who shows initiative and proactivity, combined with a high degree of results focus. You are structured, well-organized, possess high analytical skills, and pay attention to details.

 

Experience with SAP, Business Warehouse (BW), and/or PowerBI is not a requirement, but will be considered advantageous.
