We are looking for a  Category Development Executive  to join our  CDT team.

 

 

Main Responsibilities;

 

  • Develop Category Strategy document based on shopper excellence. (MBS) (Category definition, channel growth potential of category, identify priority channels and key opportunities in channels, define POP strategies and picture of success)
  • Translate brand plans into monthly operation plan by involving in MBP cycle through Pre-Comm, Comm, MFR. Own and lead Pre-Comm.
  • Ensure alignment and integration of category with sales and supply chain by planning, implementing and following up ICP Process. 
  • Measure shoppers' attitudes and behaviors on category basis and transfer these results into business plans through shopper excellence.
  • Interpret market research reports, identify performance gaps through Nielsen and HTP monthly reports, communicate to channel development team for action implementation
  • Develop deep sales and trade insight and feed brand teams to reflect shopper and trade needs in brand plans.
  • Provide category knowhow and support to channel development team for category management/captainship projects
  • Trade Asset Custodian: Lead CAPEX budget by coordinating whole process from budget release to asset creation
  • Quarterly review of ROI of trade assets
  • Lead the execution traceability system for Xpress Coolers
  • Control and track budget for trade assets in the field (e.g. refurbishment , repair,  cargo etc.)
  • Improve trade asset operations through understanding needs of the customer and develop improvement projects accordingly
  • Strictly follow freshness, promotional volumes, seasonal products etc, when necessary action plan with channel development team to prevent bad goods.
  • Initiate and coordinate instore activities related needs with brand activation team- POP materials, sampling and merchandising
  • Develop I&R pipeline volumes
  • Lead and coordinate launch & relaunch plans, key campaigns with channel development team.

 

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

 

 

  • University Degree
  • Minimum 3  years commercial experience. Previous experience in sales and trade marketing
  • Demonstrable record of success in a customer facing role. Understands customers and the selling process
  • Understands key business functions
  • Advanced English
  • HTP& Nielsen knowledge
  • Channel/Customer Knowledge
