We are currently looking for an Category Development Manager to join our Nestlé Beverages team.
Location: Maslak, İstanbul
Type of contract: Permanent
As a Category Development Manager, you will have the following responsibilities;
- Define strategies and plans that deliver Category/sub Category growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements
- Identify priority channels for the Category/sub Category and work with Channel team to recommend tailored Category Channel plans in line with overall market strategy
- Running the channel planning cycle, detection of all peaks and building annual plan to overcome those and regular performance tracking
- Develop and propose the in-store vision of success for the category/sub category in each channel. Support its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions
- Contribute to the ICP(Integrated Commercial Plan) process by identifying the key opportunities and possible action plans for the Category/sub Category
- Recommend actionable in-store solutions based on a clear understanding on shopper behaviour within your Category/sub Category; initiate Point of Purchase (POP) materials, sampling and merchandising related needs and develop plans in colloboration with the merchandising team
- Recommend winning commercial propositions for the category/sub category, effectively communicating these to customer and field sales managers as appropriate, develop category selling presentations and support customer teams
- Ensure adherence to all company principles and policies
- Understand and plan optimal investment choices; sustain Strategic Revenue Management & guide the annual allocation of commercial investments across channels/customers
Which profile are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree
- Min. 5 years commercial experience
- Previous experience in Sales and Category Development is plus
- Demonstrable record of success in a customer facing role
- Strong understanding of key business functions, customers and selling process
- Ability to motivate and develop people
