We are currently looking for a Category Production Planner to join our Operations team, working for our important Confectionery Business, with strong brands such as DAMAK and 1927.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Category Production Planner, you will have the following responsibilities;

• To establish an 18-month production plan for the factories within the scope of responsibility (including sub/contracting and/or co-manufacturing where relevant) ensuring continuous product availability in all Receiving locations
• Creating Committed Capacity, including timing proposals for plant shutdowns, investments etc.
• Provide information for labour requirements through Committed Capacity
• Creating a feasible and optimal production plan that respects constrained capacity
• Identify and effectively address all potential capacity issues in advance, working closely with multiple stakeholders to implement solutions
• Identifying possible opportunities and improvements in collaboration with the factory within the 18-month horizon balancing flexibility and reliability
• Actively support the “Strategic Volume Planning” process (i.e. Capex Planning) by providing capacity simulations, scenario planning and contingency proposals
• Coordinates AVC (Annual Volume Commitment) consolidation and affiliate volume forecast, and is SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for Market Controlling
• Ensures product availability and works closely with other streams to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Looks after Inventories and ensure optimal levels, considering stock covers, DC’s capacity(Distribution Centre), production cycles and risk management.

Which profile are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree
• Excellent command of English
• Relevant operational experience, in at least one of the following areas: Production Planning; Factory Planning, Supply Network Planning / IMSP(Intermarket Supply Planning), Purchasing, Factory Production Leadership or Demand Planning
• Demonstrable experience with SAP
• Advanced Excel knowledge is an asset
• A detailed knowledge of inter-market supply planning best practices and processes
• Demonstrable experience of managing multiple stakeholders both externally and internally
• A good awareness and understanding of business and market trends
• An ability to adapt and prioritise effectively in a changing environment
