We are currently looking for a Inovation &Renovation Manager to join our Confectionery team who will lead to responsible for the efficient, effective, flawless end-to-end execution of Innovation & Renovation (I&R) projects of medium to high complexity: Plan and lead I&R projects E2E  (from Identify to Delivery Stage) and orchestrate a cross-functional and multi-disciplinary team to achieve the project defined Key Success Criteria and deliver against the  business case. Ensure that the invested resources bring the expected return on investment to the business with a flawless execution. Critical contributor to overall business performance by leading the innovation agenda and supporting critical portfolio decisions.  

Main Responsibilities;

Execute as per the I2L flow:

Apply project management tools and skills to ensure the on-scope, on-time and on-quality launch and flawless execution of I&R projects of medium to high complexity.

Activities include:

- Closely following-up local & international category trends and identifying possible innovation routes together with Marketing team   

 - Leading project team formation and reaching out to Functional Line Managers to identify and secure resources along the flow.

 - Prioritizing projects in terms of benefit and ability to deliver considering resources, aligning with relevant stakeholders.  

- Drive timely preparation of the Business Case and receipt of Scope Approvals from the Zone

- Building and maintaining project timeline and budget all along the flow - Coordinating CAPEX request with Engineering teams

- Orchestrating all functions involved in the project to coordinate timelines, track end-to-end activities and milestones and ensure project is progressing as planned

- Driving Opportunity and Risk Management and escalating critical issues to Decider(s) - Doing preventive management of roadblock

- Coordinating and facilitating project meetings including kick-off meeting, kick-start meetings, check-in meetings, regular project meetings, risk assessments, post launch reviews and additional meetings or workshops as required

- Providing transparency, documentation and communication of projects online & offline

Leverage own functional expertise and network to steer teams towards best solution. In particular, use own expertise to:

- Question/challenge proposed activities and solutions

- Bring technical perspective, coordinate effective communication between business & technical teams

- Capture and share lessons learnt for smoother execution in the following projects

- Support development of the marketing teams in terms of manufacturing, effective project management &  innovation trends know-how   

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

• Engineering education and technical background is a must  
• Minimum 7 years of cross-functional experience gained through participation to I&R and technical projects
• 3 to 5 years of effective project management experience
• Has successfully led I&R project(s) or functional teams
• Has worked in a matrix structure
