Marketing Manager

We are currently looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Nestlé Nutrition Business. The Marketing Manager heads the marketing department and is part of the leadership team of the business. The Marketing Manager is responsible for the development and execution of all Nestle Nutrition marketing strategies and tactics (short, medium and long term) in line with the global & local guidelines. In his/her role the Marketing Manager will also be responsible for leading, coaching and mentoring the marketing team driving high performance. The role reports directly to the BEO of the business.

 

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • As a member of the leadership team, the marketing manager is to participate and contribute to the development of the overall business strategies.
  • Develops and executes annual marketing plans for the Nestle Nutrition business.
  • Develops and executes strong medical marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Develops and executes strong consumer communication plans and strategies based on target consumers and consumer insights.
  • Understands shoppers behaviours and motivations and contributes and participates in designing shopping experiences that delight shoppers.
  • Develops and successfully executes the innovation & renovation pipeline of the portfolios ensuring competitive intensity.
  • Develops consumer and HCP insights and integrates these insights into the business plans.  
  • Develops the brand portfolio strategy and contributes to the pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Demonstrates leadership. Coaches & develops team's competencies driving high performance.
  • Ensure that all activities comply with the WHO International Code of Marketing of Breast-Milk Substitutes, the Nestle Policy and Procedures, and the local regulations.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum 10 years of a successful track record in marketing with the last 3 in a leadership marketing role managing and leading a team of marketeers.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Experience in the Nutrition industry and/or pharmaceutical industry is a must. Experience in the Nutrition industry is preferred.
  • Experience in medical marketing and consumer marketing is a must.
  • Experience working in a matrix organisation. Experience in leading and managing cross functional teams.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking skills with the ability to see the big picture and the long and short term implications of actions.
  • A critical thinker with strong problem solving skills.
  • Self-starter and driven. Always raising the bar. Resilient with a can do attitude and the drive to deliver ambitious results.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high performing marketing teams.
  • Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
