We are currently looking for a Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist to join our Operations team.

Location: Maslak, İstanbul

Type of contract: Permanent

As a Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist, you will have the following responsibilities;

  • Keep abreast of local and international (e.g. Codex) regulatory knowledge and share regulatory knowledge with Regulatory & Scientific Affairs staff and various functions.
  • Propose & Implement validated action plans in response to regulatory changes in the market.
  • Contribute as key member to local Innovation & Rennovation projects. Be assigned as regulatory collaborator and/or leader in Innovation & Rennovation .
  • Ensure regulatory compliance of recipes, raw materials and products, labelling and any kind of product communication by working in close collaboration with marketing, nutritionists, quality department and application groups for product compliance and  Contribution to relevant networks.
  • Participate in industry working groups. Participate in discussion with local authorities on specific issues.

Which profile are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (preferrably Food Engineering or Chemical Engineering degree)
  • Excellent command of English
  • Minimum 2 years experience work with minimum in close contact with regulatory environment or equivalent experience in a regulatory team ( food association, industry or governmental authorities).       
  • Applied knowledge in at least one of the regulatory related topics such as food safety, consumer information, nutrition & health, additives, or quality.
  • Knowledge and experience in nutrition, science, raw material and finished products applied to regulatory environment.
  • Successful completion of the functional Regulatory & Scientific Affairs Specialist curriculum up to the specialist level and proven implementation of learning through on-the-job  application.
