We are currently looking for a Sales Manager  to join our Nestlé Nutrition team who will lead and drive the development of the omni-channel category strategies for Nestle Nutrition to deliver customer growth and business growth. 

 

Main Responsibilities:

                           

  • Define the growth opportunities for the category through the omni-channel category strategy development process.                                         
  • Drive and own the commercial planning process of the business unit.
  • Drive the on-going alignment and execution of brand, customer & field sales plans that deliver on annual business targets.
  • Consolidate, communicate, monitor and review the performance of the category and proactively manage gaps between objectives and latest estimates at a channel level, providing direction on gap closure activity and identifying category opportunities.
  • Optimize promotion plans based on systematic promotional evaluation, challenge effectiveness, funding & mechanics, balancing trade investment with customer tactics and needs, to improve ROI (in alignemnet with marketing and finance).
  • Drive and coordinate the execution and track delivery of the commercial plans
  • Ensure that data and processes are continuously optimised to meet business requirements.                                         
  • Define and implement the 'picture of success' per channel and in coordination with NiM sales team.                                          
  • Ensure that all  relevant insights on the category, channel, customer and competitors are integrated into the preparation for and applied to the delivery of channel and customer activations and communication plans resulting in the successful delivery of winning commercial propositions.                                                    
  • Drive and manage the channels operations.                                        
  • Build omni channel expertise within the sales team of the business unit.                                           
  • Ensure that both internal and external stakeholders are aligned to the category vision and initiatives through the commercial planning process.                                         
  • Adhere to all company principles and policies (including Nestlé trade policy, local sales policy, local trade terms, safety and legal regulations) and Nestlé Nutrition WHO Code Management System and procedure manual.

                                         

Qualifications required for this position are as follows;

 

  • University Degree.                    
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales/Commercial Development, with the last 5 years as a Sales Manager/Commercial Development Manager.                 
  • Experience in OTC and/or FMCG                          
  • Experience within the Infant Nutrition and/or Baby Food industry is favorable
  • Fluent in English.
