A day in the life of...

Main Purpose of Job:

Delight target consumers, build strong brands and generate strong brand building results

Key Outputs:

  • Executes consumer immersions and other relevant insighting exercises.
  • Develops and updates the Target Consumer Portrait.
  • Works with SBU to refine brand essence and vision.
  • Activates brand essence and vision.
  • Considers the impact of local regulations and nutrition guidelines on the brand
  • Works closely with channel category sales in identifying category/channel drivers and ensuring that shopper knowledge is updated and relevant.
  • Develops brand portfolio strategy, including pricing and SKU decisions.
  • Creates communications/shopper briefs that will inspire agencies to transform the brand vision and essence into actionable plans.
  • Work with the Category Manager to activate the Big Idea/Campaign Idea in store
  • Oversees execution and collaborates with the cross-functioanl team for all Innovation & Renovation projects
  • Continuously tracks brand performance and brand health.
  • Drives cross-functional team and ensures that all planning and brand related projects are on-track.
  • Works with supply chain and finance & control teams during Monthly Business Planning to ensure dynamic forecasts are relevant and responsive to category trends.
  • Works with the Business Executive Officer/Head of Business Unit in drafting the MBS and leads development of brand plans
  • Manages total Profit & Loss for his/her brand

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What will make you successful
  • With 3-5 years  experience in Marketing and 2 years in other function, ideally in Sales (preferably from an FMCG company)
  • With good experience in leading cross functional teams
  • With good experience in project management and business operations
  • College graduate, ideally finished a management or related course
  • Highly agile and resilient, passionate about delivering results
  • Good collaborator, proactive
  • Innovative
