MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Promote timely delivery of ‘first-time quality’ ‘rock solid’ financial reporting from Nestle in the Market (NIM) for Philippines, through the development, maintenance and communication of Best Practices with regards to Period End Closing and Reporting enhancements ensuring the application of internal Accounting Standard and statutory Reporting.
KEY OUTPUTS:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of NIM financial reporting of Actual P&L and Balance Sheet Reports.

Ensure that NIM financial reporting is timely, complete and fully compliant with IFRS / NAS / NIBS, by assigning Markets’ reporting responsibility to members of the team and ensuring coordination among the team and the Markets.

Act as a central point of contact between the Market and the Centre in relation to Accounting & Reporting issues

Establish effective communication and partnering relationships with Markets, Regions, GMBs, JVs, Holding/Service, Zones, Group Control, NBS, Globe, and other departments within the Group leading the Market Reporting Team.

Prepare the statutory requirements and provide assistance to Nestle in the Market for the resolution of external audit issues.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- University/ Master’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration or Finance / Management Accounting Certification would be an asset
- At least 10 years of excellent performance in Finance or with prior experience in senior position in accounting or audit (internal & external).
- Experience in leading teams and projects across various regions or markets.
- Strong background in manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication skills to explicitly explain and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues.
