A day in the life of...

Main Purpose of the Role:

  • Responsible for strategy and insights development of the brand
  • Partners closely with the overall business unit head (BEO) and the generating demand team in the identification and prioritization of key consumer/shopper issues and opportunities that drive growth; advise key decision makers with data driven knowledge so that they can make informed risk-assessed decisions.

Lead and Develop People. Oversee activities and inspire, move the team in the effective management of projects across business units and functions.

Growth Acceleration. Re-ignite growth and de-risk plans by looking at the businesses with a different lens using tried and tested tools, with the objective of creating focus on needle moving intiaitives whilst agreeing what not to do. Gain commitment to action, create excitement and build momentum together with the business units.

Strategic Planning and Performance Management. Engage and support the business units in defining and refining busines strategies with a specific focus on where to play and how to win; ideas and processes that will grow the business and realize measurable results. Continuously monitor business performance, market trends and suggest interventions required

Develop Superior Consumer Value Proposition. Work together with the business units in the development of consumer value propositions, identification of pricing thresholds and opportunities and building alternative launch pathways and measurement of marketing effectiveness pre and post launch.

Consumer Knowledge and Insights. Develop sharp understanding of Target Consumers, develop Consumer Portraits and Core Insights in coordination with Brand builders, understand what drives consumer delight

 

 

What will make you successful
  • At least 4 years' experience in a similar role
  • Possesses strong business partnership backgrounds – mix of data expertise and brand management 
  • Preferably with strong FMCG background
  • With strong empathy and high analytical ability
  • Ability to go below the surface, beyond the obvious; Strategic thinking
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator
  • Highly agile, able to deliver in a fast-paced environment
  • College degree holder
